This lovely French inspired mansion is undergoing final renovations for its first wedding in June, but I had the privilege of joining a handful of photographers to capture this beautiful wedding space before it opens to the public. All of the prettiness you see here was envisioned by the insanely talented Charla Storey with The Elevate Series, and designed by Dallas wedding planner Wendy of Birds of a Feather Events.
This rich, spring wedding inspiration combines yellow, lavenders, and peaches that are both rich and dreamy at the same time.
Maxine with Max Owens Design perfectly paired the most scrumptious Japanese ranunculus, Iceland poppies, and other floral blooms for a wedding bouquet and centerpieces that are unique and yet modern, yet still classic and timeless. She is truly a master of creating florals on the fly, putting together a floral headpiece for a more editorial image that was a dream to photograph. It was oure magic watching her work!
This elegant paper suite by Tie That Binds pairs perfectly with this luxe decor. I still can’t get enough of the detailing on this Marchesa wedding gown, reminiscent of the many chandeliers sprinkled throughout the rooms like candy.
The Olana, Dallas’ newest luxury wedding venue, is inspired by French baroque architecture and pays homage to the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in Paris. This mansion was surely designed with southern hospitality in mind — you won’t believe the amenities! The bridal suite features its own salon, the groom’s room is an entire floor that includes a bowling alley and racquetball court, and the mansion is situated on 40 acres with indoor and outdoor pools.
And if you are looking for unique wedding cake inspiration, look no further than this beautiful yellow wedding cake by Layered. Just add flowers — and champagne!
Speaking of champagne, cheers to this talented team of Dallas wedding vendors who created such a beautiful treat for the eyes!
